MyTinnitusProfile does not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifying information. When you complete the test, your responses are saved anonymously using a randomly generated ID. This ID is stored in your browser's local storage so you can return to your results without retaking the test.
Audio
All sounds in the audio test are generated locally in your browser using the Web Audio API. No audio is recorded, transmitted, or stored.
Cookies
MyTinnitusProfile does not use cookies. We use localStorage — browser storage on your device — to save your session ID so you can return to your results. No cookie consent banner is required.
Affiliate Links
MyTinnitusProfile participates in affiliate programs with healthcare and wellness brands. When you click a link and make a purchase or book an appointment, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Third-party sites may set their own cookies. Third-Party Services
We use OpenAI to generate personalized descriptions from your test responses. Your anonymized test data (sound type, frequency, impact answers) is sent to OpenAI for this purpose. No identifying information is included.
We use Supabase to store anonymous session data. No personal information is stored.
We use Umami for privacy-friendly analytics. No personal data is collected.
